Description
NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board have re-awarded an urgent contract for a 6 month extension for the provision of Community Dermatology and Tele dermatology Virtual Triage and Photography Clinics. This includes delivering the main element of Community Dermatology by the existing main provider- Mayflower Healthcare Alliance Limited and the Tele dermatology Virtual Triage and Photography Clinics Service sub contracting arrangements for the existing sub contract provider ICS Operations Trading as (Xyla) for the Tele dermatology Virtual Triage and Photography Clinics Service. This is under Regulation 14 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 (PSR 23). This is for a period of 6 months from the 01st October 2025 to the 31th March 2026 as the current Procurement timeline has slipped this urgent award to allow both incumbent providers to continue whilst the mobilisation is undertaken- to ensure continuity and patient safely. This notice is confirmation of an award having been made due to an urgent circumstance and delaying the award of the contract was considered as having been likely to pose a risk to patient or public safety and to protect the health of these patients. The contract is awarded for both providers 1st October 2025 - 31st March 2026. The estimated contract value is for the 6 months is £415,970.80 with a 3-month notice period for Mayflower Healthcare Alliance Limited and £754,752.00 for ICS Operations Trading as (Xyla). The total value for both services is £1170722.80.
