Description

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking Suppliers to provide a quality, ad-hoc servicing , maintenance and repair service for a range of Fleet and Plant. The service will support the Council to sustain maximum fleet and plant utilisation and is split in to 6 Lots: Lot 1= Vehicle and Plant Repair and Maintenance Lot 2= Refuse and Gritter Body Repair and Maintenance Lot 3= Windscreen Repairs Lot 4= Hydraulic Repairs Lot 5= HGV Statutory Testing Lot 6= Light Plant Repair and Maintenance

Lot Division

1 1. Vehicle and Plant Repair and Maintenance
  • Value: £900K

Full preventative servicing, diagnostics, and reactive repairs across the CCC fleet including cars, vans, HGVs, and plant equipment.

Award Criteria
PQQ Suppliers who pass the Qualification stage will be awarded on to the Framework. Commercial criteria will not be scored.
2 2. Refuse and Gritter Body Repair and Maintenance
  • Value: £900K

Repair and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems on refuse vehicles and gritters.

Award Criteria
PQQ Suppliers who pass the Qualification criteria will be awarded onto the Framework. Commercial criteria is not scored
3 3. Windscreens
  • Value: £100K

Up to 3 Suppliers will be awarded on to the Framework Windscreen repair and replacement

Award Criteria
Commercial 70% cost evaluation based on total repair/ replacement of example Fleet vehicles
Technical Scored technical (quality) questions
4 4. Hydraulic Repair
  • Value: £45K

Repair and replacement of hydraulic hoses and components, on vehicles and plant.

5 5. HGV Statutory Testing
  • Value: £140K

MOT and Tachograph Calibration

Award Criteria
PQQ Suppliers who pass the Qualification stage will be awarded on to the Framework. Commercial criteria will not be scored.
6 6. Light Plant and Tools Repair and Maintenance
  • Value: £230K

Servicing, inspection, repair, and upkeep of light plant & electrical equipment used in highways and grounds maintenance

Award Criteria
PQQ Suppliers who pass the Qualification section will be awarded onto the Framework
