The awarding of this This contract is subject to has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 16th December. Written representations should be sent to - hayden.bowman@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk This contract has not yet formally now been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to formally awarded using direct award under the PSR. process C. Assessment of the existing provider's current performance against the existing contract taking into account the established key criteria: Quality & Innovation - Meeting Expectations - Demonstrated their commitment to delivering person centred, holistic care for people who are in recovery from substance use. The team includes trauma counsellors to ensure that key aspects of a patients wellbeing is addressed. Involvement from family members and caregivers is encouraged to ensure long term recovery support and community reintegration. For people completing residential rehab, an accredited Ambassador programme is offered which develops credible and confident lived experience leaders, peer to peer support, and visible recovery challenging stigma Value - Meeting Expectations - The programme they operate brings cost savings in terms of a reduced reliance on health care services that comes with addiction to drugs or alcohol, and the improvements it brings to individuals prospects for employment, education and housing situation. The quality of the residential rehab programme directly influences the long term outcomes of people as they are offered up to 24 weeks of structured support, followed by strong aftercare and follow up support. Integration - Meeting Expectations - The provider has established links with key heath care and justice partners which would continue under this new contract, to ensure full integration and collaboration with other relevant health care services. Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice - Meeting Expectations - The provider has established a successful model for delivery which includes targeted outreach workers who work with groups of people with lower engagement and poorer health outcomes such as crack and opiate users. They work closely with the local treatment services and robustly support individuals to access and maintain treatment. Social value - Meeting Expectations - The Provider offers volunteering opportunities, not just in the field of substance use, and have an Intensive Support Programme, working closely with local employers, to offer paid employment opportunities to people in recovery from substance use.
