The services to be provided for under this contract are Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) Discharges, hospital transfer, enhanced priority, HDU, and ‘on-the-day’ activity. This notice is an intention to award a contract based on a framework agreement under the competitive process. The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £10,508,232 (including extension options). Initial contract Term 2 years from 25 April 2026. Option to extend for 2 periods up to 12 months each (maximum extension period of 2 years).This is an existing service and existing Provider.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 23:59 on 05/01/2026. Representations can only be made by providers party to the framework agreement.
