Description

NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care Board (ICB) are seeking to commission provider(s) who have the capacity and capability to manage and deliver a community falls-risk-reduction strength and balance programme in Bristol (Lot 1) and South Gloucestershire (Lot 2) in accordance with the specified requirements. The procurement is divided into 2 lots (Lot 1 - Bristol) and (Lot 2 - South Gloucestershire) and providers may bid for both. The aim of the service is to reduce the health impact and healthcare burden of falls and fall-related injuries in the population across BNSSG and to achieve this by delivering an evidence based community strength and balance programme to appropriate at risk individuals. The maximum initial contract values for the 3 year contract term (inclusive of VAT) for each lot are as follows: Lot 1 - Bristol: £451,755.00 Lot 2 - South Gloucestershire: £148,425.00 The contract term is planned to commence from February 2026 and will be for a duration of 3 years with an optional extension of 2 years. This exercise is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
