Description
This is a Voluntary Ex-Ante Transparency Notice and is intended to provide notice of the Contracting Authority's intention to increase the value of an existing below threshold contract for software development for Case management software and Data Warehouse anti-crime and safeguarding purposes along with additional time for ongoing support.
Total Quantity or Scope
The Authority intends to modify a below threshold with Simpsons by £50k taking the total contract value to £202k. The initial contract value was for application development and 12 months support. Some problems were encountered with the development meaning the contract value has increased along with additional time for on going support for the application and database. The Authority does not have the expertise/resource to take on the support role, so at least in the medium term its very likely Simpsons will need to provide support from Dec 26 to Dec 27.
