Scottish Water requires suppliers to provide a self-drive hire tankering vehicles to be driven by Scottish Water operatives. Hiring should support short term needs however the option of long term hires will be required.Suppliers will be required to have the ability to cover all areas of Scotland. Vehicles fit for the purpose of each job regards vehicle size and capacity must be available. Vehicles offering must include:• Vehicles suitable for off road empties i.e. tractor and bowser• 2000 gallon rigid tanker• 3000 gallon rigid tanker• 4000 gallon rigid tanker• HGV Articulated tanker

Vacuum excavation is the preferred method due to its precision, reduced risk of utility strikes, and minimal environmental impact compared to conventional excavation methods.Vehicles fit for the purpose of each job regards vehicle size and capacity must be available.
