Description

The Nurse Service at New Horizons Youth Centre provides an early intervention, proactive model to some of the most vulnerable young people in NCL as part of a wider health team. The holistic intervention supports timely access to direct health interventions to avoid later and more costly emergency treatment and crisis care. Planned, timely referrals to GP's, Dentists etc are offered with referrals to specialist care only as needed.
