Dumfries and Galloway Council are seeking to procure a care and repair service to facilitate and deliver home improvement grant awards to people with disabilities, or long term conditions for the purpose of adapting their homes at the referrals of Occupational Therapy.

Total Quantity or Scope

Dumfries and Galloway Council are seeking to procure a care and repair grants managed service to facilitate and deliver the home improvement grant awards to people with disabilities, or long term conditions for the purpose of adapting their homes. The service provider will facilitate the process by processing recommendations submitted by the Council's Occupational Therapists. The Occupational Therapists will assess the individuals current and future needs. The service provider for Care and Repair will then seek contractors through appropriate quotation procedures to deliver the works adhering to procurement principles of value for money and transparency. The service provider will administer and provide advice on funding / grant funding available. The contract opportunity is for one provider to both administer the grants process and organise the sub-contracting works elements.
