The supplier delivering the contract for EVID Tranche 2, Batch 2 is responsible for financing, designing the sites, carrying out required civil works, supplying, installing, operating, inspecting, maintaining and decommissioning charge points and related infrastructure for electric vehicles.

Total Quantity or Scope

Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Delivery (EVID) is one of Transport for London's projects which has been designed to deliver London's 2030 Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Strategy commitment to unlock Greater London Authority group land for charging infrastructure. The project focusses on releasing sites to the market which can host electric vehicle charge points (with a minimum power rating of 50kW per charging bay) to increase the number and coverage of charge points across London. The EVID Tranche 2 Batch 2 contract consists of a mixture of twenty nine (29) single or double charging bay sites on the Transport for London Road Network.

The overall value of the contract is not fixed (i.e. the revenue received by TfL will depend on demand for the charge points and various other factors). Since delivery of the contract is fully supplier funded a nominal contract value of £1 has been stated in this Contract Award Notice.
