Description

This new contract is being issued to Homerton Hospital Foundation Trust to continue the provision of the 5-19 Healthy Eating and Obesity Service under Direct Award Process C of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) commencing on 01/02/2026 for an 18 month period.

Total Quantity or Scope

The 5-19 Service is responsible for delivering and creating a behaviour change programme for children, young people and families in City and Hackney, helping them improve their weight and create long term healthy habits related to diet and physical activity. The contract is being awarded to Homerton Hospital Foundation Trust to continue the provision of the 5-19 Healthy Eating and Obesity Service under Direct Award Process C of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) commencing on 01/02/2026 for an 18 month period the total value of the proposed contract will be £225,000.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 2nd of March 2026. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
