Description
This notice marks the intention to follow the Most Suitable Provider Process under PSR Wales. The minimum 14 day notification period will start on the 25th February 2026 and end on the 11th March 2026 at 23:59pm
Total Quantity or Scope
The Health Board wish to commission a maximum of 180 assessments to reduce the DoLS backlog, between April 2026 until March 2027. The service will include DoLS Best Interests Assessors (BIA's) and the use of a s12 Doctor.

The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.
