Description
The aim of the service is to provide an alternative to hospital admission by way of an admission prevention bed for people in mental health crisis, or those in danger of their situation becoming a crisis.
Total Quantity or Scope
The Service provides short stay accommodation with opportunities of support that can range from between 10 days up to a maximum of 14 days in 24hr supported accommodation for people in mental health crisis. The Service provides emotional and practical support during the stay to stabilise a person's distress and avoid/alleviate the crisis situation. The award has been made following direct award process A The lifetime value of the contract is £82,000 The service of the contract is provided from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2026
