Description

A contract to facilitate the implementation of the WID-easy endometrial cancer test at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, The WID-easy test is a non-invasive, DNA methylation-based diagnostic tool designed to detect endometrial cancer with high sensitivity and specificity in women with Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB). Its adoption aligns with NHS goals to improve early cancer detection, reduce diagnostic delays, and enhance patient experience. This contract will include the equipment needed to carry out this test as well as processing the tests and providing us with results.This is an intended approach notice, providers can express their interest in being considered as the 'most suitable provider'It is expected that this contract will run for an agreed trial period ranging from 3-6 months. To run from 12/04/2026.We expect the contract to be Valued between £30,000 and £40,000. We intend to award a contract using the most suitable provider process.‘This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.’
