Description
The current contract was extended through the approval of a Single Tender Waiver (STW) as the Authority was unable to complete the planned procurement and award a new contract. This was due to significant changes in the service requirements that arose during the procurement process.To ensure continuity of service while these changes were assessed, approval was granted for a Single Tender Waiver to extend the existing contract for a further 14 months. This extension provides the Authority with sufficient time to fully understand the impact of the revised requirements on service delivery and to undertake and complete a new compliant procurement process to secure the service for the future.
