Description
We are seeking expressions of interest from specialist providers able to offer high quality, skilled, and person centred accommodation and support for a young man who will turn 18 in September 2026. He will require a bespoke accommodation, care, and support package to meet his complex needs as he transitions into adulthood. The young man has: • Learning disability • Autism • Phelan McDermid Syndrome (PMS) His presentation is fluctuating and complex, including: • Cycles of excited catatonia • Variable attention and engagement • Significant sensory needs • A range of behaviours of concern • Periods of regression related to PMS • Strong enjoyment of social interaction, humour, and hands on, practical activities He requires a stable, confident, well trained staff team who can provide: • Predictable structure • Relational, warm, engaging support • Skilled, specialist approaches tailored to his daily fluctuating needs Please note that all providers expressing an interest will be subject to due diligence checks, including verification of regulatory compliance, safeguarding practices, quality ratings, and financial viability. Estimated annual care and support cost is shown below as £620,000 and calculated on 3 carers 24hrs per day (maximum care package)
