Description

Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) intend to award a contract to deliver an outsourced solution for IVT procedures.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Health Board has identified funding to support the Ophthalmology Service to reduce waiting lists and referral to treatment (RTT) time. The procurement was initiated utilising NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership's (NWSSP) Framework Agreement for Provision of Clinical, Surgical and Diagnostic Procedure (ref PRO-OJEULT-50776) under a mini competition exercise. The estimated contract value is GBP 2500000 exc VAT, with the contract to begin 1 April 2026 and to expire 31 March 2027.
