Description
NHS Frimley ICB ("the Commissioner") sought to commission provision to provide Enhanced primary care service providing healthcare to rough sleepers in Slough This service was originally commissioned in 2019 as an enhanced GP support for vulnerable groups using IAGP (Improved access to general practice). At the time the contract was between East Berkshire CCG and the East Berkshire Primary Care (EBPC) to run an outreach service in each of the locality areas in East Berkshire as part of the out of hours contract. In 2023 the budget and commissioning responsibilities were transferred over to the PCNs who continued to commission the service with the same provider. In April 2025 the PCN served EBPC with 3 months' notice, they would no longer continue commissioning the service. Funding source is now with BCF and to ensure continuity and consistency in service are looking to Direct Award with a new contract for the year 2025/26 Frimley ICB has followed PSR Direct Award C for the contract to which this notice relates

The Commissioner has awarded a contract to East Berkshire Primary Care (EBPC) for an initial one-year contract (with the option to extend for 12 months) commencing 1st July 2025. The total expected value of the contract for the initial one-year contract term is £46,225. The optional one-year extension expected value of the contract is £46,225. Therefore, the full expected lifetime contract value (one year + optional one year extension) is £92,450. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and The Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.
