Insourcing to address workload backlog in Histology to improve turnaround times. Technical services for all resection and biopsy pathways.

Technical Services for all resection and biopsy pathways (including, but not limited to, dermatology, gastrointestinal, gynaecology, breast, urology, and national screening programmes for bowel, breast, and cervical). This notice is confirmation of an award having been made based on a framework agreement and without competition. Contract Start Date: 23/03/2026 Contract End Date: 22/03/2027 Option to extend for further 12 months. Estimated lifetime value of the contract is : £1,034,064 incl VAT (incl extension option). This is a new service and provider.
