Award of the contract without prior publication is compliant as this procurement is a further competition off the 'Lot 1: Occupational Health and Employee Assistance Programmes, Fully Managed Service' on the 'Workforce Alliance: Workforce Support – Occupational Health Framework'.

The Provider Selection Regime (PSR) process was conducted in line with statutory guidance. One bidder response was received; however, the proposed cost exceeded the Trusts' approved funding envelope. Proceeding to award would not represent value for money and would be unaffordable. The Trust has therefore decided not to proceed with an award and abandon the process.
