Description

Moray Council Building Services wishes to put in place a Framework for a period of three years with a possible extension of 12 months, with suitably qualified and experienced Contractors. The Framework will provide professional trade services to assist with Reactive Repairs, Planned Maintenance and Labour Only and will be used to cover the entire Moray region to support the Authority’s owned housing stock of 6,492 properties. A limit of 20 contractors per lot will apply.

3 Builder/Mason

Builder is generally used to form the walls and other solid elements of buildings and structures and so on. It may be load bearing, forming an integral part of the structure, or non-load bearing, such as a partition wall or cladding etc.

4 Cleaning

Industrial (Commercial Buildings) - remove Domestic (Residential, Voids, End of tenancy cleans) Biohazard (contamination with biological fluids, needle sweeps) Graffiti Removal (pressure washing, chemical removals)

5 Drainage & Water Services

Surveying, Camera Inspection and Jetting, Drainage Installation, maintenance and repairs, Septic Tank Emptying, Mains water connections and repairs

6 Electrical

Repair, maintenance, installation and certification of domestic, commercial and industrial electrical works complying with the current version of BS 7671 EICR reports and remedial works complying with the current version of BS 7671,Repair, maintenance, installation and certification of domestic firealarm systems complying with the current version of BS 5839-1 Repair, maintenance and installation of communal door entry systems serving multiple flatted buildings. Emergency Lighting repair, Maintenance and installation complying with BS 5266-1. Repair , maintenance, installation and certification of all types of electric, gas ,oil and air source heating

13 Painting & Decorating

All painting works to include but not limited to the preparation of surfaces, all decoration works including painting/taping/papering/tiling/damp and mould treatments, external painting.

14 Pest Control

Control of unwanted creatures, such as, rats, ants, bedbugs, and termites from homes, buildings, and surrounding areas. They typically inspect buildings for signs of pests, determine the treatment needed

28 Labour Only

Labour only - Contractors may be required to support our ‘in house’ Building Services ’ team during peak periods where key trade (e.g. Joiner, Plumber, Electrician, Painter, Slater) support is required to deliver planned/cyclical maintenance.

29 Gull Control

Licensed Contractor - all proactive Gull Control Activity Preventative Measures. Supply, installation and maintenance of sonic scarer devices. Lasers deterrents, debris, nest and egg removal and dead bird removal
