Description

This tender process is for the provision of Core Networks services. A high-level summary of the scope across all Lots is set out below. Bidders are invited to propose a solution that is capable of delivering a modern, integrated network and voice solution that meets the Utilities core connectivity requirements and ensures comprehensive Local Area Network (LAN) support, whilst also suggesting alternative options to enable diverse network connectivity.

Lot Division

1 WAN Services
  • Value: £6M

The Utilities require a modern, resilient and scalable WAN that supports IT, OT and CNI operations across a diverse estate.
2 Voice Services
  • Value: £2M

The Utilities require modern, resilient voice services that integrate cleanly with the future WAN and SD-WAN estate and support on-premises, cloud and hybrid deployment patterns.
3 LAN Hardware Maintenance & Support
  • Value: £6M

The Utilities require a consolidated and proactive LAN support service capable of maintaining a stable, secure and compliant estate across IT sites, OT/CNI sites are not in scope of for this contract.. The successful Bidder will assume responsibility for stabilising and maintaining the existing LAN hardware, providing break/fix support, controlled replacement, configuration governance and lifecycle management. Renewal Options

Extension option of three years.
