Out of Hours Clinical Assessment and Home Visiting Service to inpatient Detoxification Unit

Total Quantity or Scope

the service is to provide an Out Of Hours non-specialist medical advice service for the nine bedded Detoxification Unit based in Hampshire which provides clinical support out of hours to staff in the unit which provides initial stabilisation and detoxification and then rehabilitation for patients. To ensure that the In-Patient unit is commensurable to a medically managed facility, PHL will provide out of hours clinical support and advice for non-specialist medical conditions/issues following contact from the unit with PHL. This provision will complement the existing provision of a dedicated specialty doctor and consultant psychiatry presence. MPFT intend to award this contract to an existing provider following direct aware process C. The approximate lifetime value of this contract is £62,028.00 for a 12 month term with an option to extend for a further 12. This contract will begin 1st May 2026 and the maximum expiry date will be 30th April 2027.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
