Legal Justification

This contract was awarded under the G-Cloud 14 Framework Agreement (RM1557.14), following a longlist to short list evaluation of potential bidders against UK Biobanks specific needs, and an evaluation of the 3 shortlisted bidders

Other Information

The initial cost of Softcat's cloud Fundamentals services is £281,100 over the 3 year term. The estimated total value of the Call-Off Contract is set at £3,000,000 on a zero committed value basis (a detailed view of call-off is shown in Schedule 2). In addition, the Call‑Off Contract includes a minimum committed AWS OGVA spend over the term. This OGVA commitment is separate from, and not included within, the estimated Call‑Off Contract value stated above. The initial cost of Softcat's cloud Fundamentals services is £281,100 over the 3 year term.
