The provider is a NHS Foundation Trust, providing acute health care services including, but not limited to, Commissioner Requested Services (CRS) and specialised services. The provider is the only provider capable of delivering the services due to the nature of those health care services. This contract award has been made following Direct Award Process A (The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, Regulation 7) The contract term will be 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year at the sole discretion of the Authority. The contract will start on 01/04/2025 and end 31/03/2028, if the optional extension is utilised the contract end date will be 31/03/29. Contract Value for 25/26: £398,959,592 Expected Contract Value for years 1-3: £1,196,878,776). The extension provision (enacted at commissioner discretion) is £1,595,838,368.00. Lifetime contractual value (including provision to extend) is £2,792,717,144 This contractual value includes: Associate contractual portfolio of £33,877,294.00 per annum; lifetime contractual value of £135,509,176.00 (inclusive of extension provision). Specialised commissioning; of £43,132,228.00 per annum; lifetime contractual value of £172,556,912.00 (inclusive of extension provision).
