Legal Justification
The modification supports access to urgent dental care by providing appropriate triage and clinical redirection for patients presenting with urgent dental needs. It supports the urgent and emergency care system and maintains service continuity while wider dental reform arrangements are embedded.

This is a Provider Selection Regime contract modification notice issued under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
