The purpose of this event is to discuss Blackburn with Darwen Borough's offer to support young people and adults who experience issues with drugs (illegal & prescription) and alcohol, with a particular focus on the following areas: • Harm Reduction • Psychosocial treatment and support • Community specialist clinical interventions • Supervised consumption/ needle syringe programme • Community based detoxification • Tier 4 inpatient detoxification and rehabilitation services • Alcohol care teams • Criminal justice • Recovery and support • Sustained progress in treatment and outreach
