Description

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero are looking for a suplier to provide Transportation and Accommodation Services. The requirement is to provide coach and driver services, as well as accommodation booking services, at short notice (from 10 working days to as little as 12 hours), for Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) inspections taking place anywhere in the UK, including Northern Ireland. The inspections are conducted under the terms of the Chemical Weapons Convention, enforced in the UK by the Chemical Weapons Act 1996.

Renewal Options

The contract includes one optional extension period of up to 12 months, to be used at the Authority’s discretion. The extension may be exercised where the Authority continues to require Travel and Accommodation services to support OPCW inspections under the Chemical Weapons Convention and where it is operationally necessary to maintain continuity of service.
