Description
The University wishes to purchase a high-repetition-rate ultrafast laser system. The laser will be used for ‘universal’ strong-field ionisation of small molecules (e.g. H2, CO, C2H4, C2H6) in a gas-surface heterogeneous chemical kinetics experiment. The laser system will be installed on a 2.5 x 1.2 m laser table in a laser-laboratory situated in its School of Engineering and Physical Sciences on its Edinburgh campus
