Description
The provision of an on-site canteen/cafeteria and takeaway service offering hot and cold meals, light snacks, confectionery, hot/cold beverages and vending facilities (if so required) across three sites of the South Wales Police estate, with the potential for a fourth site to be added from 2027. The supplier may also be requested to provide hospitality/buffets in those same sites if required.
Renewal Options
Extensions would be made on an annual basis following the inital end date, with a maximum of two annual extensions
Award Criteria
| Technical Capability and Social Value | This will be assessed at the first stage of the tender. The Technical Capability questions (weighted at 80%) will assess the supplier's capability and ability to implement and operate the services. The Social Value questions (weighted at 10%) will assess the supplier's social value offering under this contract. The individual weighting of each question is detailed on the online tendering portal and the scoring methodology is detailed within the ITT documents. |
| Food Offering Assessment | A food offering assessment is required as part of the evaluation of Tenders, for the suppliers who are successful in proceeding to stage two of this competitive tender exercise. The evaluation panel will arrange to visit Tenderer's premises to undertake an assessment of the Tenderer's capability and offerings in relation to their food. The scoring methodology for this stage is detailed in the ITT document. |
