Description

Delivery of consultancy services to support Bradford Council in developing a Supported Housing Needs Assessment and a Strategy for the use of supported housing, in line with the requirements of the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act 2023. This includes stakeholder consultation, analysis of current and future needs, and the production of evidence‑based recommendations and final strategy documents.

Total Quantity or Scope

This procurement is for the appointment of a suitably qualified consultant to deliver a comprehensive Supported Housing Needs Assessment and a Strategy for the use of supported housing for Bradford Council. The work will support the Council in meeting its statutory duties under the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act 2023 and will include data analysis, stakeholder engagement, assessment of current and future needs, and the development of evidence‑based recommendations and final strategy documents.

Renewal Options

The contract includes an optional extension. The Initial Term runs from 5 May 2026 to 30 December 2026, with an option to extend for a further 3 months. The extension may be exercised at the sole discretion of the contracting authority, subject to the provision of three months' written notice prior to the expiry of the Initial Term

Legal Justification
