Bangor University (“the University”) is establishing a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for the delivery of one-off project works across the University estate. This Framework will provide a compliant, competitive, and efficient procurement route for individual projects with an estimated value between £100,000 and £1,000,000 (exclusive of VAT), procured in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, the Procurement (Wales) Regulations 2024, and relevant Welsh Government procurement policy. The Framework is intended to support the delivery of discrete capital, refurbishment, and upgrade projects and is distinct from the University’s existing Measured Term Contract (MTC), which continues to cover minor works with an estimated value below £100,000. Servicing, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and statutory compliance testing are not included in either the Framework or the MTC and are procured separately by the University. The Framework will be divided into the following Lots: • Lot 1: Electrical Works • Lot 2: Mechanical Works • Lot 3: Building & Grounds Works The scope, value, and volume of works to be delivered under the Framework will depend on the University’s operational requirements, available budgets, and funding approvals. The University makes no guarantee of any minimum or maximum level of work under the Framework or under any individual Lot. Examples of Works below ; • Lighting and small power installations, upgrades, and refurbishments • Fire alarm systems, security systems, and access control installations • Structured data cabling and associated containment (where linked to construction projects) • Distribution boards, panels, transformers, and switchgear • Containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and busbar • Emergency lighting installations and upgrades • UPS and generator installations where integral to a project • Earthing and bonding systems • Testing, inspection, commissioning, and certification associated with project works

2 Mechanical Minor Works (£100k to £1m Excl VAT)

Examples of works in this lot are listed below : • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installations and upgrades • Boiler and chiller replacements • Air handling units (AHUs) and associated plant replacement • Pipework, ductwork, valves, and plant room refurbishments • Building Management System (BMS) integration where part of a wider mechanical project • Controls, insulation, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning • Plumbing and drainage modifications associated with project works • Gas installations associated with projects • Water hygiene works directly associated with new or modified systems
