Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) and its communities have a long track record of place-based approaches. The Council now wishes to highlight the potential for this way of working within a larger unitary council context, as part of a wider asset based preventative agenda. As a result, we are seeking to appoint a strategic partner to support the Council, local organisations and communities in a 12-month programme of work. It is intended that the programme will help us understand the way in which organisations operating, in Test Valley in future, will need to work to maximise the potential for a prevention first, relational place-based approach.
