The Services are to support prisoners during their transition into custody, ensuring their basic needs are met and enabling engagement with prison services. The overarching aim is to: -Support prisoners during their transition into custody. -Facilitate access to prison services and sentence planning. -Reduce reoffending through targeted interventions. -Support and prepare prisoners for successful resettlement. -Improve prisoner wellbeing and engagement. -Maintain and strengthen family ties and community connections.
