Description

Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) intend to award a contract to deliver n insourced solution to support Theatres. The Health Board has identified funding to support Theatre activity to reduce waiting lists and referral to treatment (RTT) time. The Health Board requires an insourced solution, with full theatre teams, to support across a number of specialities, including, but not limited to, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Urology. The procurement was initiated utilising NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership's (NWSSP) Framework Agreement for Provision of Clinical, Surgical and Diagnostic Procedure (ref PRO-OJEULT-50776) under a mini competition exercise. The estimated contract value is GBP 3748839 exc VAT, with the contract to begin February 2026 and to expire 31 March 2027.
