Description
This Framework provides individual software licences for Microsoft, Adobe, VMware, other Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software products and associated Software Services. The Framework Agreement aims to ensure access to competitively priced software solutions and related services tailored to the unique needs of the Higher Education (HE) and Further Education (FE) sectors, whilst making provision for non-HE/FE organisations ie other public‑sector and third‑sector organisations, that are, or become, full, associate, or affiliate Members of SUPC or the Participating Consortia. Eligible organisations may include but not limited to schools and academies, local government bodies, charities, research and science organisations, cultural institutions, health and care bodies, and other publicly funded or not‑for‑profit entities.

| 4 | Commercial Off The Shelf software (COTS) This Lot includes sourcing and provision of a broad range of software solutions and licences, including Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products and associated services. It includes comprehensive support, installation and technical assistance, troubleshooting, user guidance, ongoing maintenance with updates, security patches and performance enhancements, and licence renewals. The lot also encompasses flexible delivery and licensing models such as SaaS, PaaS and consumption-based options, solutions capable of integrating with cloud platforms commonly used. Award Criteria

| 4 | Adobe ETLA Sub-Lot 2a relates to Adobe Enterprise Licenses software and licences, including associated support, maintenance, updates, renewals, and related services. Award Criteria

| 5 | Adobe VIP Sub-Lot 2b encompasses the provision of Adobe VIP and other Adobe software (excluding enterprise licences) and licences, including associated support, maintenance, updates, security patches, performance enhancements, and licence renewals. It includes access to technical assistance, troubleshooting, and user guidance, flexible delivery and licensing models such as SaaS and consumption-based options. Award Criteria

| 6 | Software Asset Management Services Software Asset Management Services (SAM) to include tracking and managing software licenses to ensure compliance and optimise costs. This may include licence inventory and auditing, cost and renewal management, compliance monitoring, security and risk management, and the use of automated SAM tools. Award Criteria

| 7 | Cloud Readiness Assessments Services Cloud Readiness Assessments evaluate an organisation’s readiness to move to cloud infrastructure, covering infrastructure review, gap analysis, strategy development, and risk assessment. Cloud Integration and Migration Services support the secure transition of data, applications, and workloads to the cloud, including platform integration, data migration, hybrid cloud solutions, and testing. Cloud Optimisation Services focus on improving performance, security, and cost efficiency through ongoing optimisation, performance tuning, automated scaling, and security enhancements. | 8 | Cyber Security Assessment Services Cyber Security Assessment Services that provides in-depth evaluations of the member’s security provisions, ensuring that they provide effective protection against cyber threats and compliant with industry regulations.
