Legal Justification
The framework agreement is being extended for a period of six months to ensure continuity of service while the contracting authority completes a replacement procurement exercise. The authority will start the re-procurement process; however, additional time is required to undertake the procurement in accordance with applicable procurement regulations, including tender evaluation, governance approvals, and contract mobilisation. The extension is limited to the minimum period necessary to conclude the replacement procurement and avoid any interruption to the provision of services.
