The Greater London Authority (GLA) is preparing to procure Specialist Immigration Advice Services (SIAS). This commissioning process presents a vital opportunity to reshape the future of rough sleeping services to achieve the Mayor's Rough Sleeping Plan of Action (https://www.london.gov.uk/programmes-strategies/housing-and-land/mayors-prioriti...) with the ambitious goal of ending rough sleeping in London by 2030. We are seeking to transform service delivery models to enable rough sleeping prevention alongside targeted and sustainable routes off the streets. The Specialist Immigration Advice Services will provide specialist immigration advice for single adults sleeping rough, and those at risk of rough sleeping, who need support to clarify and/or regularise their immigration status so they can in turn prevent or end their rough sleeping. The services will support 4 or 5 of the London Sub-regions - to be determined - and will form an essential element of London's preventative and responsive rough sleeping support system for homeless single migrants. The dates are indicative at this stage, with the intention being for the contract to commence between April and July 2027.
