Description
Homes in Somerset has over 4000 properties which they maintain and manage on behalf of Somerset Council. They currently have 12 passenger lifts which require ongoing maintenance and servicing to ensure they remain safe and operational for our tenants. We are seeking a contractor to undertake regular maintenance, servicing and emergency call outs as per the specification. From 1st September the number of homes will increase to over 10,000 and the number of lifts requiring maintenance, servicing and repairs and emergency call outs will increase to 15 passenger lifts.
Renewal Options
The contract will be extended year on year for up to a total of 3 extensions or 5 years total contract term but only on successful completion of previous years and on agreement between the parties
Award Criteria
| Quality | Quality will be the most important criteria with an overall weighting of 60%. Only bids that score a minimum of 30% for quality overall will be considered for further evaluation. |
| Price | Price for carrying out the contract requirements will be marked out of 30%. Price will only be evaluated if a minimum of 30% quality score has been achieved |
| Social value | Social value will be scored out of 10%. Social value will only be scored where a minimum of 30% has been achieved for quality |
