Provision of Group LIfe Assurance from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029

Contract includes an option provision for the contract to be extended by 12 months at Ofcom's sole discretion.

Administration function and service delivery capability	• Quality of proposed scheme accounting, including the billing process and monthly data cycle • Quality of administration process including accounting and individual underwriting for benefit in excess of the scheme free cover limit • Extent to which provider is able to support the annual enrolment process by attendance at employee presentations/road shows. • Extent to which tender demonstrates the ability to administer and manage plan design
Claims Management	• Claims process – ease of submission of claims, web/telephone-based services. • Quality of proposed web-based communications and support of Ofcom Choices website. Quality of proposals for employee communications to assist understanding of the claims process.
Ease of Management	• Extent of resources available to effectively manage plan migration process • Quality of plan established for migration of existing membership to new provider • Treatment of existing medical underwriting decisions and availability of “whitewashing” of previous underwriting.
Social Value	The breadth and quality of value added wellbeing services offered across a range of topics, demonstrating a clear understanding of Ofcom’s diverse workforce and how colleagues value and access support services at different life stages.
