Description
The service offers social and therapeutic group activities in the outdoor farm and garden environment at Windmill Hill City Farm for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs. It provides individual assessments, regular reviews and informal social support, creating a low‑stigma, community‑based setting with easy access. Activities include supported farm placements and volunteer opportunities designed to promote wellbeing, prevent mental health crises and offer meaningful engagement. The service is open to people registered with a Bristol GP and accepts referrals from any route, including self‑referral, social prescribing, third‑sector organisations, social services and secondary mental health services.

This serves notice as a Contract Award Notice following the completion of standstill with no representation to the award. The Date the contract was completed was 8th June 2026. The Contract period is 3 years The Lifetime value of the contract is £48,998.24 This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and The Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C. No conflicts or potential conflicts of interest of individuals making the decision were identified. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners. NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Gloucestershire ICB are currently working together in a formal "clustering" arrangement to prepare for their merger into a single, new organisation (name to be confirmed), effective from 1st April 2027.
