Description

The Scottish Library and Information Council is seeking to put in place a contract to provide a national solution for eNewspapers and eMagazines, bringing all 32 library authorities onto one managed contract. Providing a full and comprehensive package for eNewspaper and eMagazine library services. The goal is to award for an initial two year contract for the beginning of April 2027 with the option to extend for two further one year contracts.

The Scottish Library and Information Council is seeking a supplier to provide a single national fully hosted eNewspapers and eMagazines service for all 32 Scottish public library services, enabling authenticated remote access for registered members via a multi-platform digital solution.

Scotland Excel are acting on behalf of Scottish Library and Information Council in the execution of this procurement exercise but will not be party to the contract or the management of the contract throughout its lifetime. Scotland Excel seek to have consultation with interested suppliers during the week commencing the 29 June through 3 July.
