This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded in accordance with a competitive process (Regulation 11). The Contract Award Recommendation Report was approved in accordance with the delegated authority provided by the ICB Board (January 2026), with bidders notified of the Intent to Award on 19th January 2026. This procurement underwent review during the standstill period by the NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICB (NHS C&P ICB) PSR Review Panel. In which it was confirmed there had been no breach of PSR, and it was recommended that NHS C&P ICB should proceed with awarding the contract for the Provision of Wheelchair and Posture Services for Children, Young People and Adults (Standard and Specialised), as originally intended. The standstill period ended on the 26/02/2026. - No conflicts of interest were declared by the NHS C&P ICB PSR Review Panel. - The contract will be for a period of 5 years with the option to extend for up to a further 5 year period starting on 01/04/2026. - The approximate lifetime value including the available extension is £25,073,351.00.
