Provision of Eye Care Liaison Officer (ECLO) Services for Yeovil District Hospital. Services to be provided include:• Deliver ECLO services, in line with the RNIB ECLO Quality Framework and Practice guidelines, to people affected by sight loss, their friends, families and carers• Establish and maintain effective referral pathways to a wide range of relevant organisations and services and make appropriate onward referrals• Assist with certification and registration processes in line with Department of Health and Social Care’s ‘Certificate of Vision Impairment: Explanatory Notes for Consultant Ophthalmologists and Hospital Eye Clinic Staff in England’• Promote the ECLO Service as part of the induction process for new clinical staff related to OphthalmologyThe Authority is intending to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C. The lifetime value of this contract is expected to be £220,547.00.The contract dates are 01.08.26 - 31.07.31
