The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is seeking suitably qualified design and construction teams to deliver multiple Air Source Heat Pump upgrade projects across various locations and buildings within the university estate. The primary objective of these projects is to enhance the environmental performance, energy efficiency, and overall sustainability of the university’s estate, supporting the university’s wider decarbonisation and net zero ambitions. Relevant RIBA stage design documentation will be provided for reference purposes to support bidders in the preparation and submission of their proposals. Suppliers are expected to review the information provided and satisfy themselves as to the scope, constraints, and requirements of the works prior to submission.

Renewal Options

UWTSD reserves the right to call upon the Contractor to provide similar services as and when required for a period of three (3) years from the contract start date. The appointed Contractors will be required to work collaboratively with the University to identify and implement approaches that achieve cost savings over the life of the Contract. This opportunity primarily relates to University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) in its current format. However, the contract will also be accessible by the entire UWTSD Group and Pembrokeshire College, meaning additional provisions may be required during the contract term. There is, however, no guarantee of any future work.
