This project will update the carbon calculator for wind farms on peatlands, ensuring it reflects current policy, practice, and scientific evidence New research is therefore needed to develop an improved carbon calculator which is applicable to peatland types across England and Scotland.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Scottish Government, Scottish Ministers and DEFRA now have the requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of Carbon Calculator for Windfarms on Scottish Peatlands.

Renewal Options

Following the end of the initial contract period of eighteen months the contract may be extended by six months

Other Information

It is a requirement of this Contract that the Contractor shall pay staff that are involved in the delivery of services under this Contract at least the real Living Wage.
