Description

Provision of a community-based shared care service for the administration and monitoring of denosumab 60mg/ml for osteoporosis. The service will support patients in Lambeth (or registered with a Lambeth GP) who have been identified by secondary care as clinically appropriate for treatment in the community. The Provider will deliver blood monitoring, prescribing support, and timely administration of injections in accordance with the South East London Shared Care Agreement, while clinical responsibility remains with secondary care.

This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C. The contract for Community Based Cardiology Diagnostic Services (Electrocardiogram and Blood Pressure Monitoring) (Contract Reference: 202607SELICB (LAMBETH) XEC) was awarded on 19 May 2026. The services under this contract are intended to be provided from 01 July 2026 to 30 June 2028, with the option to extend for a further 1 + 1 years at the sole discretion of the contracting authority. Should both optional extensions be exercised, the contract term will run until 30 June 2030. The total lifetime value of the contract, excluding VAT, is £2,311,995. This comprises: Year 1: £611,374 Years 2-4: £566,874 per annum The values for Years 3 and 4 are indicative and based on projected activity levels, and are subject to review and agreement prior to extension. During the standstill period, no formal review process was undertaken.
