Legal Justification

Due to unforeseen increase in service requirement and urgency to address the matter, the quickest and most appropriate route would be to modify an existing contract to the incumbent provider. This would be to increase the existing contract value and period. Conducting a new procurement process would not satisfy the requested timeline and potentially result in increased costs through alternative provider and new service set up costs.
