Description

Provision of Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) services across NHS Highland sites, including the inspection, testing, labelling, recording and certification of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with the IET Code of Practice and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

1 Raigmore Campus

NHS Highland requires the provision of Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) services across a range of healthcare and administrative premises. The scope includes the inspection, testing, labelling and certification of electrical equipment, together with the maintenance of accurate asset registers and provision of compliance reporting. The Contractor will be required to undertake testing in accordance with the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. The scope will also include microwave leakage testing where applicable. Services will be delivered across multiple sites throughout the NHS Highland area. The contract is expected to be for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years.

2 Argyll and Bute

Renewal Options

The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend the contract beyond the initial two (2) year term for a period of up to three (3) additional years, which may be exercised in one or more periods, subject to satisfactory performance and at its sole discretion.
