Other Information

This is a Provider Selection Regime Wales (PSR Wales) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 11.59pm 3rd August 2026. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR Wales. The decision makers were the Associate Director Primary Care, Medical Director Primary Care, Head of Pharmacy Primary Care, Primary Care Contracts Manager and Clinical Governance Managers. There are no noted conflict of interests. As part of the review all basic and key criteria were included with a pass/ fail weighting for all criteria and an award being made when all criteria were met. The Health Board determined that, due to the low-risk and highly specified nature of the service, providers would be assessed against mandatory requirements aligned to the PSR key criteria. Providers demonstrating appropriate clinical governance arrangements, capacity to deliver the reviews within the service period, compliance with the DOAC LSS and acceptance of the service specification were awarded contracts. Providers failing to satisfy one or more mandatory requirements were not awarded. This provider met all criteria. (WA Ref:168248)
